Beaches and all-inclusive beach resorts of Jamaica are one of the main reasons that tourism has exploded there. Golden or white sand, crashing waves, warm water, and a colorful world lying just underneath the water's surface are main features on this island. From the most populated to the most secluded, Jamaica's white beaches are a treasure to behold.
Jamaica has over 40 beaches with over 100 miles of white sandy beaches. Many of this houses all-inclusive beach resorts with luxury hotels that offer a plenty of vacation activities. The only problem you may encounter is that you will run out of time before you run out of beaches! There's something for everyone on each beach. Activities include surfing, volleyball, parasailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, horseback riding, and fishing. On some beaches, playing reggae music and drinking a Red Stripe beer is a daily event. Most beaches have an ample supply of lockers and most have a shower nearby.
Some of the more popular beaches have an entrance fee of about $6 or less. You can even find some for 1$. If you prefer a little seclusion you will even find out that some beaches are free all year round. Of course, all-inclusive beach resorts have the best possible amenities for water-sports.
But what about a little skinny dipping, you ask. Like on many other islands of Caribbean, topless bathing is common in Jamaica, especially on the West Coast, in Negril. Hedonism II, Grand Lido, Couples Negril, and Point Village resorts have also nude beaches. A few of the best beaches of Jamaica and even of Caribbean are:
Turtle Beach - This beach is well maintained and surrounded by hotels. It has plenty water sports and food stands. This is Ocho Rios' main beach.
